So, I just whipped out my phone to upload my photos for this week's post--and realized I never took a single photo on my phone this week. Not a one. Sounds about right, though. Let's see if I can recap:
SATURDAY 10/8/11: Got my new license (double-chin photo was not nice), and went to a baby shower. Both could have warranted a photo. FAIL.
SUNDAY 10/9/11: Participated in Walk Now for Autism Speaks. Took photos with my real camera (see below). HALF FAIL.
MONDAY 10/10/11: Typical Monday. Not feeling photographerish. FAIL.
TUESDAY 10/11/11: I don't even remember, and now I don't have a photo to remind me. FAIL.
WEDNESDAY 10/12/11: Same time warp as Tuesday. FAIL.
THURSDAY 10/13/11: Aiden helped me make cupcakes to take to the sitter's house for Nolan's birthday since the boys won't be there next week. Obviously a perfect photo op. FAIL.
FRIDAY 10/14/11: Miserable cold settles in my face. Absolutely no photos. FAIL.
Okay, so now that I've wasted your time since you obviously stopped by to check out my photos, I apologize. But I guarantee you THERE WILL BE PHOTOS next week because I'm on vacation (SQUEE!!!), and a certain someone has a first birthday in a few days. Also, plans to head to the apple orchard/pumpkin patch. Excitement looms, but not quite yet.

A Brief Stroll
Nolan took his first steps last week. :)
No, he's not walking, per se, but he does take steps. And it's been nearly impossible to catch them on video. But last night, I was successful.
Enjoy!

Walkin' for a Cause
I've been wanting to walk with my cousin's team for our local Walk Now for Autism Speaks for a few years. Luckily, this year we were actually available to do it (two years ago we were in Hilton Head, last year I was RIDICULOUSLY pregnant), and we couldn't have asked for a better day--bright sunshine and highs in the lower seventies at step-off. As with the March for Babies, it's a humbling experience to participate in a walk; the various t-shirts on the teams of supporter hint at stories untold. I'm happy to have been a member of Skye's the Limit this year, and I hope the boys and I can participate for years to come!
Our honoree, Miss Skye
Aiden had a great time hanging out with Aunt Julie :)
Like father like daughter..like crabs?!
Brutus showed up! But he was whisked away before Aiden could refuse a photo with him...

My Week (11) in Droid Photos
Yeah, I missed a week in there--sorry about that! We've reached October--my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE time of year, and there just aren't enough hours in the day, let alone energy to remember to take a photo. I apologize for the shortage; I'll try harder, though, so I can remember all these good times!

Saturday 9/24/11: Ready for his one-year photos.
Sunday 9/25/11: Enjoying lunch at the remodeled Wendy's.
Very modern inside--complete with a Coke machine that had 150 flavors!
Monday 9/26/11: I asked him to smile before his swim lesson. This is what he came up with.
Friday 9/30/11: Nolan being...well, Nolan. :)
