Mike's Hobby & Other Goings-On

A few weeks ago, Mike was finally able to score a camera he liked at the camera store he works at. He had been looking at one with a pretty high price tag, but luckily an older model was traded in, and he got a great price on it. He's been having a blast taking photos of random stuff, including the kitties, flowers, and my belly (check out that bump! That was last weekend when I was 18 weeks along).
OSU will be playing Penn State in Happy Valley tonight--should be a pretty good game. Makes me almost as nervous to go over there as it does to have the No. 1 ranking. I like being the underdog SOOOOOO much better (41-14 at the hands of Urban Whiner's Florida, anyone?). Regardless, it should be a great game--I'm just happy it's our last night game until the bowls start up. GO BUCKS!!!

Okay, so...

Yeah, I'm a bad person because I haven't posted on here in awhile, but seeing as how things are going to change drastically at the Cotter household in a few months, I figured I'd better start posting. Most of you out there know that Mike & I are preggers (17 weeks, 2 days, but who the heck is counting?!), and since there's a lot of our family out-of-state, I wanted to make sure everyone had access to updates. So here's where you should go to learn all things "Cotterized" :)

In the pregnancy realm, I've really kind of "blossomed" in the past week--in other words, I've popped. WEIRD that there's now a tummy where there never really was one before! (Please don't read into that as bragging; I've always been blessed with a high metabolism, so I'm just trying to give you my perspective :)) You can definitely see it in the photo above--and by the way, isn't that stroller just the CUTEST THING EVER?! I won about $95 during this past weekend's OSU game through our pool at work, so off we went to make a baby purchase--of course it HAD to be Buckeye-related since they kind of funded it. Can't wait to try it out!

In other news, Mike has a new job as the shipping manager for a local camera store. So far he likes it, and I LOVE the fact that he works normal hours--I actually get to see him around 6 PM every night instead of 9:30 or 10! It's also about a 2-minute drive from our apartment, so it's been a real blessing.

Okay, I need to go veg out for awhile; for some reason I woke up at 3:30 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep, so I'm running on empty. Hope everyone is well!!! Stay tuned for more updates; we find out whether our peanut is a boy or a girl on November 8 :)
