This was the view from my desk at work this morning. I always dread the first snow of the season because Columbus folks FREAK OUT when the white stuff starts falling. Our first snow was today, and it was relatively big (about 4 or 5 inches) compared to what we normally get. I had to drive pretty slow to make it to work, but I made it at my regular time; most other folks were pretty late (I know someone who was on the road for 3 hours!). If this was the last snow of the season, I would be JUST FINE with that--I HATE snow with a passion!!!
I love snow because I get a snow day if the roads at West Point are bad enough!
ReplyDeleteWe had ice the other night; each morning, I have to drive over a mountain on my way to work, and they closed the road Monday morning! I had to go home and wait until I heard news that the road was salted and reopened :)
